The Town of Damascus presents the Trail Town Twirl, a quarterly community dance March/June/September/December, at the Historic Rock School Auditorium. Open to all ages and experience levels! No dance partner needed. Each dance features a live band and traditional dance terms with a mix of dance styles including contra, circle, square, waltz, rag and more.
The March 1 dance will be called Ada Diane, with live music by Appalachian Sojourn.
Located at the Historic Rock School Auditorium, 505 South Shady Avenue.
Beginners' lesson at 7pm, dance is 7:30 to 10pm.
Pay at the door, cash only, suggested donation $5-15, free for kids under 12.
